The wheels you never knew existed? They are dead, and never coming back!

Mind blown? Yeah I said the same thing, Where in the heck did this come from? Well let me tell you a story about how Aoshima's wheel game since Micheal Jackson's thriller hit the billboard charts.

"Aoshima Bunka Kyozai RL"  was established in 1945. It was focusing on the wooden model-airplane manufacturing. It did not produce plastic model's until the 1960's. The Aoshima S-parts line was not released until the late 80's and 90's and they made a wide variety of different rims and wheel manufactures. In fact, they made so many specific wheels that they stopped producing them and only kept a small line. Now they only produce the popular 19inch series and 18inch like Work or Volk racing wheels which are very popular today! Who knows they may just bring these nostalgic wheel designs back, but only by popular demand. I happened to come across these online from a friend that collected these in the 90's as well. To my surprise the seller sent me an updated image that contained a box full of rare and vintage wheel sets that blow my mind away. I finally pulled the trigger and managed to acquire these still shrink-wrapped wheels new in their original boxes. How cool is that?! 😀

I'm not sure if i will ever take them out of the box now and use them on my personal builds but they are really cool just to have. I really did not know these existed until now! Thanks Barbara for hooking me up i am super stoked to have these in my collection now. On to the next one!
