Scale riders was in attendance as we were sponsoring the tuner/drifters class. Black Rose- A tribute to terror's lowrider Up-Bringing

Black Rose- A tribute to terror's lowrider Up-Bringing

It sees to amaze me how well rounded in cars this guy is. From the modern and latest import trends to this classic 1964 Chevy impala super sport. This is what terror aka (mario) up-bringing was all about. Lowrider car shows and model car events was the only thing i knew when i was a teenager. I would attend the local lowrider show's in town. I would beg my mom to take me check out cool cars and basically get inspiration from these street machines. I noticed back then that this was my calling and i wanted to do something with it. My dad bought me a 64 AMT kit back in the 90's and i had no idea what i was doing with it, i thought it was already pre-built from the stock image of the car printed on the outside of the box, so i attempted to put the little pieces together and the rest was history! When i went to high school all my friends were into Honda's and street racing, so my taste in cars begun to change but i always had low-riding inside of me forever. 34 years older  an

Yodobashi-Akiba Tokyo Japan

Yodobashi-Akiba Tokyo Japan

A few months back I traveled to Japan for the first time with Armando Flores and Juan Amezcua. Right when we arrived and was ready to explore the city. I kept bugging Armando when are we going to the hobby shops? when?, when? I kept looking around hoping to come across a Tamiya poster on a business window. Everyone always tells me everything is in Japan. They are about that hobby life and they got it all. On December 1st I stepped foot in Yodobashi-Akiba for the first time and it wouldn't be my last during my trip. Jevries met up and took us to Yodobashi-Akiba. He got to witness my excitment and depletion of yen as I stacked my bin full of goodies. This was a mega store I don't know how many floors but we just kept going up. Until we reached the hobby floor. They got it all and for cheap too! You can spend hours looking at things here. Trying to decide what kit will you take home? What will I create next? How much money did I bring? Very nice
